Quality standard for investment casting of heat-resistant steel
The quality inspection of heat-resistant steel investment castings is an indispensable link in the production process of castings. Its purpose is to ensure that the quality of castings conforms to the technology of delivery acceptance. The main basis for the quality inspection of heat-resistant steel castings is: casting drawings, investment casting quality standards, or the casting delivery acceptance contract or agreement signed by the supplier and the supplier. It can be seen that the quality standard of investment castings, like the part drawing, is an important basis for judging the quality of castings. From a worldwide perspective, there is no unified international standard for investment castings.
Different countries have different standards, and only a few countries in the world have national standards for investment castings. Up to now, only the standards for aluminum alloy investment castings have been included in the national standard GB/T9438-1988 Technical Conditions for Aluminum Alloy Castings, and most of the rest are industry standards or enterprise standards. The quality standards for investment castings also include some professional technical conditions formulated for one or more castings.

Why to produce heat-resistant steel castings?
Because steel castings have higher strength, plasticity and toughness than iron castings, some steel castings also have good weldability. Some special properties can also be obtained by adding some alloy elements to the steel castings.
